The following hotels represents all of the hospitality portfolio owned by Social Security Corporation (SSC) and supervised by the National Company for Tourism Department (NTD).
SSC is the sole owner of the properties and NTD is a fully owned subsidiary of SSIF. NTD was established to supervise the hotel portfolio which is represented in the adjacent graph. Moreover, IHG is the sole brand operator managing the properties in SSIF’s portfolio with the exception of Mudaba Inn, which is leased to a third party. Furthermore, Amman Cham Palace is operated by operational agreement with Cham Palace Company.
At the moment, there is currently an arbitration case terminating the Cham Palace operator agreement. The company’s portfolio comprises of eight properties across four key destinations in Jordan: Amman, the Dead Sea, Petra and Aqaba. What follows is a brief introduction of characteristics of the project portfolio. Additional information is available in the following pages.
